The Refugee: Caught in the Webs of the Past

Your life is a state of denial, passed through with fearless confidence while looking at a dial- tick tock the clock goes, but you still have to look forward. For if you get caught in the webs of the past, get stuck in stick in the sands of time. It would be hard to claw up to the future.

Like raindrops on your window,
So numerous you know,
So are your dreams
Of success streams.
But you prefer to hide your true hue
So you can stick to the world,
Or get out of it.
But stay
Even if it's just for to-day
Or tomorrow's-day
For the night is till young and the morning is gay.
And when I think under clear skies,
The writing is as crystal as the blue;
It says to keep moving,
Ride on,
Because you're the only shine
On a dark Knight
And the only star
In a star-less night
