What Inspired me to create my Hyper Realistic Artwork "Dreams" - Fatola Israel

Last year September 2016, something happened and it will change my life forever.

An old friend and I got into a very tense argument. He called me "Akúsèé" meaning a wretched and/or poor person. He said so many other silly things about me. I didn't forget (I don't think I ever will). At that time, I told myself that I would make him regret what he said on that very day.

Series of events had came and gone, and I'm still driven by the passion and urge to make a mark, and to prove to the world, (and to those who look down on me) that I've got something on the inside, a virtue that doesn't need anyone's permission to triumph, even in the face of adversity.

A few weeks ago, that "Old Friend" of mine was one of who joined my rally for votes in the recently concluded #FarabaleArtBeat2.0 which I won.

I THANK GOD for where I am today and where I aspire to reach in the coming years.

Everyone holds his fortune in his own hands, like a sculptor the raw material he will fashion into a figure. But it's the same with that type of artistic activity as with all other aspects of life: We are merely born with the capability to do it. But Note that the SKILL to mould the MATERIAL into what we want must be LEARNED and ATTENTIVELY CULTIVATED.

My Dream is to Impact both young and old, of this generation and beyond, with aided Visual companions through the emotional truthfulness of my Art. What's your Dream??? #TellYourStory
